War heroes advancing shattering tiger nerve centres War heroes advancing while taking control of LTTE nerve centres have declared they will not permit the LTTE Eelam dream to become a reality whatever obstacles arose.. The troops have succeeded in taking control of Mallavi, considered as the motherland of the outfit. The gallant soldiers of the 7th Sinha Regiment of the 57th Division have consolidated power in Mallavi. The war heroes of the 14th Vijayabahu Regiment of the 59th Division, in their thrust into LTTE territory, have taken control of the Jeevan base, which spans 250 acres. Mallavi was strategically important to the LTTE. This is consolidated with the monument put up in memory of LTTE cadres killed and the Mallavi office of the terrorists. A similar situation is witnessed within the Jeevan base camp complex captured by the troops of the 14th Vijayabahu Regiment. Large scale underground bunkers used as armouries and a training camp were witnessed within the base. There were several cells put up with barbed wire to imprison innocent Tamil youths fleeing the camps. This clearly testifies LTTE's brutality.
