After reading other people's comments I think I understand a few things better now, but does anyone have thoughts on whether or not Bandou and Kurama actually died (particularily Bandou) I'm a little confused about that.

yeah but it's author's choice you idiot and lucy's kind is more spiritual like the ceo guy said. So it's possible that her vector genes might have escaped and created a new being in another womb of a woman or something. I hope = ) in the end happy end suits the story way better
