Let say it is electric. Electric engine has brutal torq from basicaly 0 rpm. So it coul start better than Ferrari or Porsche. But, who wants car which sound like blasted vacum cleaner???
he's gutted an atom and put in an electric motor, have a look at the arse end again, I think its not bad, but i would prfer a propper supercharged atom.
Here's what it comes down to.. Electric cars are designed to give current like the flip of a switch, but the torque must allow for a buildup mechanism, else the driver could snap his neck taking off, and the car's physical structure might buckle. In any case, electric cars will always have the capability of being much faster, its just a question on how the engineers limit the buildup of torque.
